Week 18: My Little Sweet Potato!
Morning sweetie! I’d call you my Sweet Pea, except you’re the size of a sweet potato today! Yup, a potato! P-O-T-A-T-O, with no “e” at the end. 😉 Aww, I can’t wait for you to learn your ABC’s and start to code on your first Fisher-Price laptop. hehehe How about I call you my Sweet Potato Pie this week?
I’m happy to say that I’m finally getting my old taste buds back! Broccoli, mushrooms, greens, garlic, tomatoes (and probably onions, but it’t not one of my favorites) all taste a lot better now. And my appetite is much better as well. I could eat a whole plate of broccoli or a side of chicken if I wanted to. 😉 I do find that if I eat dinner too early (like at 6pm), you want me to wake up at 3am to get a snack. I might just have to snack on something right before bedtime from now on, unless you enjoy eating cereal at 3am and at 7am. heh
I got tired of the morning egg sandwiches, so Daddy’s been making us a breakfast burrito and apples every morning (our second breakfast). Much yummier!
I feel your little movements now and then. It’s nice to know which side you’re resting on. And I’m also starting to feel slight backaches and headaches this week. But it’s nothing I can’t handle.
We have a long and fun weekend ahead of us! Uncle Cuong & Auntie Lana are getting married! So we’ll be seeing a lot of friends for the first time since the announcement of your arrival.
Oh yes, today is Harry Potter Movie Day! We’ll have to watch the entire series together once you get older.

Baby’s become amazingly mobile (compared to you, at least), passing the hours yawning, hiccupping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking, and swallowing. And baby is finally big enough that you’ll soon be able to feel her movements.
