Week 32 – You’re one active baby!

Oct 21, 11 week32

Happy Week 32 baby! You are getting really big and you’re constantly moving around.. even more so this week! You’re one active baby! I’ve been trying to rock in my chair this week to lull you to sleep. You only nap now and then though!

It’s been really hard for me to move around or even concentrate on any task. So I rest and concentrate on you instead. You do tend to push on my lungs and chest a lot, making it really difficult to breathe and painful to move. But I know that’s just your way of telling me you’re healthy and growing.

These weeks have passed by so quickly, that another 8 weeks doesn’t seem long at all! It’s actually making me nervous since it seems so close. I hope I become a good mother!

Some highlights this week:
Well, last night, Daddy talked and played with you at 3am in the morning. You seem to like those early hours! You were kicking so much. I think I was half asleep at the time. lol

Last yesterday, I felt your two little feet kicking me. It was amazing. And those two legs of yours are pretty long and strong! Must get that from your Dad.

And not too long ago, I felt your little hand (left side) punching against my stomach. I think you scratched me with your fingernails too. lol

Well, I’m about to head to bed. I have to wake up early and re-take my glucose test (just the 2 hour part). So kick lightly, and please let me sleep tonight. :)

How your baby’s growing:
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You’re gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she’ll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.
