Week 33 – Movin’ and Groovin’

I can’t believe we’re almost there! Happy Week 33 honey. Or should I call you my little honeydew? We’re at Month 8 now! Daddy and I are getting very anxious to meet you.
You’re growing so strong this week. Your punches and kicks are beginning to surprise me! Sometimes I think you’re trying to tell me a story throughout the day with your movements. Your favorite fruit are Apple Pears, and you also get moving and grooving when I drink carrot juice too! It feels like you’re trying to run in there but not get anywhere far. lol
Keep on kicking dear. It’s always reassuring, just try to do it gently. You’ve been waking me up a few times during the night. I know I need to get use to it right?
This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark. She’s the size of a honeydew! She’s rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren’t fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don’t entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as her brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
