Clicking Sound when Baby Kicks

Lately, I’ve been hearing this clicking sound once in a while when the baby punches or kicks. At first, I thought it was me, but I swear it was coming from my tummy area. I’m not really worried because she’s constantly moving around, but I do want to know what the sound it. Maybe it’s a just one of those pregnancy mysteries!

After searching around tonight, I saw that a lot of women have reported the same thing, but no one knows what it is.

It could be the baby kicking my ribs, but I highly doubt it. The clicking sound is just too fragile to be that. I keep imagining the baby cracking her little knuckles and telling me to get ready for a big kick any minute now. lol Or better yet, she’s practicing her mouse-clicking fingers. hehe

I hear it about once every day for the last week or two. But no more than 3 times a day. I personally think it’s her joints stretching because I only hear it near where her legs and arms are. But I’ll be a question I’ll ask my doctor on Monday!
