First Time Eating Rice Cereal!

Yay! Katie had another first today. She tried her first solid food! We put some GERBER® Single Grain Cereal – Rice in a bowl and added milk and spoon-fed her for first time. She was really excited about eating from a spoon. She even put out both hands to help me feed her. And I was really excited to use the Baby Dipper Bowl for the first time!

Katie loved eating the cereal so much that we had to give her two servings! I’m so happy I put her (my) favorite bib on. Feeding time for her is always so messy!

Sigh, she’s growing up so fast and learning so much. I can’t tell you how much I cherish every moment with her. As people say, they do grow up so quickly!

I can’t believe tomorrow will be my first Mother’s Day! I feel happy every time I stop to think and I realize that I really am a mother now. And although it has its ups and downs, I still think it’s the best job in the world. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful mothers out there!
