Trish Scully Child: Blue Damask Sleeveless Evelyn Dress

Nov 18, 12 Trish Scully Child Dress

Need something adorable and classy for your little girl to wear? Well then, be sure to take a look at the Trish Scully Child Collection. Her contemporary children’s clothes are designed in vintage-inspired fabrics, bringing a little bit of glamour and luxury to your daughter’s wardrobe. They’re fancy, beautiful, yet comfortable to wear.

My daughter attended her first wedding recently. I wanted to dress her up a little formal, yet still be comfortable throughout the event. If you have young children, you know how much they love to move around.

The Blue Damask Sleeveless Evelyn Dress proved to be the perfect choice! This dress is just beautiful. It has a little bit of flair, but not so much that it’s over the top. I love the little ruffles that line the bottom of the dress and the pattern is so elegant. And there’s nothing like a little bow around the waist to finish it off. It’s little details like this that makes Trish Scully Child clothes stand out from the rest.

The dress looks and feels so luxurious. It’s made of 100% Polyester, but it doesn’t feel too hot. The layers are light and airy, but they kept my child warm. On cold days, I bet the outfit would also look extra cute with a cream cardigan and a pair of black shoes. You can handwash the dress or put it in the washer on the gentle cycle, then just hang to dry. There wasn’t a wrinkle in sight when it dried. The dress is quite easy to clean and take care of.

At first, I was worried about the color choice because I didn’t have a matching headband. But the moment I saw this lovely Vintage Peacock Feather Flower Hair Clip on Zulily, I knew it was the perfect accessory to put the finishing touches on the outfit!

Overall, I love this Trish Scully Child Blue Damask dress. It’s absolutely gorgeous, and my daughter she got so many compliments on it. The only part that I wish was easier to use is the back zipper. Sometimes it gets stuck in the middle where there’s a lot of fabric, but if you hold both sides of the dress closer and take your time pulling the zipper up, it’ll zip up fine. The dress is part of their Fall 2012 collection and I think you will enjoy each piece as they’re beautiful, high quality, and quite luxurious. · $54
