Meeting Yo Gabba Gabba!
Yo Gabba Gabba posted an event on their Facebook page on Friday night. When I read it, I thought my daughter would love to go! It was a bit last minute, but I managed to rearranged things around.
Yo Gabba Gabba performed at Veterns Park in Chino Hills in support of International Rett Syndrome Foundation. Rett syndrome is a unique developmental disorder that is first recognized in infancy and seen almost always in girls. It is caused by mutations on the X chromosome on a gene called MECP2. It was a family fun event with concert in the park, carnival games, face painting, balloons, and all that fun stuff. CoderBaby was really happy when she saw all the characters close up. It made her hug and kiss her Yo Gabba Gabba toys even more. We got in line to take photos, but she kept wanting to go see them up close. So we stood there and watched the other kids take pictures. When it was finally our turn, she was SO HAPPY. She had the biggest smile when Brobee hugged her! lol She had a lot of fun and so did we.
She loved walking in the grass, well, that was until we pointed out all the ladybugs to her. She doesn’t like things that crawl around apparently.. They scared her. lol
We’ll be looking for more family fun events to go to in the future! She’s at a fun age at the moment.
Playing Patty Cake in the park.
