Helping a Friend During a Fire Drill
My husband co-workers sent me this message. It just made my day! So happy to hear she’s helping out her younger friends out!
We were there this morning for the fire drill (9:50am). When the teachers told the kids to find a friend and grab hands, Katie picked Lucy (she is transitioning from Infants), and walked with her all the way to the end of the parking lot. Teacher Ja’Neice thanked Katie for helping their new friend. Katie was so proud that on the way back she grabbed Lucy’s hand again, and took her back to the play area. She is a big girl now
